I've worked in the field of Graphic Design for twenty three years, originally teaching Foundational Students before moving into artworking for Print in Point of Purchase before emigrating to London with a shift into Digital.
Over the last year and a half I've had the opportunity to revitalise brand identity for a London-based Managed Service Provider, including a complete redesign of the online presence, overhauling social media, technical and opinion piece standardisation and documentation, as well as managing email campaign generation and deployment for the Marketing Lead. This has involved Front End, Digital and Print Design, CMS and Marketing Platform Selection and Management, Asset Generation and Management across the business for both digital and print and Design Support for Events.
My focus now lies largely in simplifying core design elements within digital visual design.
I have been involved in projects covering numerous market sectors as both a visual and user interface designer over the course of my career, including designing commercial packaging for clients including Cadbury and Microsites for commercial concerns such as Dreamworks, Dell, Aviva, British Land, Hit Entertainment, Eidos Square Enix and the Discovery Channel.
I've also worked in Game Interface and Gameplay design utilising both scratchbuilt and pre-supplied content.
I believe in trying to creating visual design that is simple, functional, and good to look at.
