The Leadenhall Experience Holding Website & Explainer Videos
Project Overview
As part of an agency team working to realise a customer's digital initiatives for British Land, I was part of front-end development for the Leadenhall Experience website — a microsite showcasing key leasing information and timelapse video of the Leadenhall Building project construction. After launch, the website was enhanced with four concise explainer videos highlighting key project milestones and statistics.
Utilising HTML, CSS3, Adobe Animate and Adobe After Effects, the total build balanced rich media impact with a seamless fallback HTML site, ensuring any visitor experience was consistent with or without access to rich media content.
My Role & Results
- Rich Media Production: Designed and animated interactive content in Adobe Animate while building an HTML version of the same for broad compatibility
- HTML & CSS Development: Scaffolded a static layout in HTML and CSS, mirroring the Adobe Animate build look and feel to ensure that users with limited plugin support could still access core content through the fallback website
- Video Integration: Embedded a timelapse construction video and live webcam feed along with four explainer clips post-launch
- SEO Best Practices: Applied semantic markup, descriptive alt text for visual elements and keyword-focused headings to improve discoverability for the Leadenhall Experience
